This album is about the feelings of time dilatation and depersonalizion. The state of being room stoned. Your soul stretching thin as the hours pass by staring at the ceiling. Watching shadows crawl along the wall. That feeling you get watching a movie when you're tired, when you keep almost falling asleep but random loud noises pop up keeping you half lucid like waves crashing in as the tide rolls in. A living soft nightmare. Not one full of demons and monsters. One when you're in a fight but the air is thicker than concrete and you can't throw a punch. Oppressive comfort, on the razor thin edge of drowning. Sitting down in a flood plain on a day hike through the woods, and the next moment months passed and you are covered in mold and moss and rooted too deep to move. Someone screaming at you while you're in a coma. An old friend approaching you after years but you can't recognize them. Waking up from a day dream and not knowing where you are. The anticipation of doom to come. Busy stillness. A memory unrecalled. Forgetting your own birthday.
